Three Village Central School District is composed of Setauket, East Setauket, Stony Brook, Poquott, Head of the Harbor, Old Field. Some fractions of Port Jefferson. Saint James and South Setauket (or Centereach) are included as well. This district is located on the North Shore along the Long Island Sound and offers many relaxing beaches close to home. Stony Brook is known mostly for the State University of New York Stony Brook and Stony Brook University Hospital, ranked the 20th best hospital in New York. Although peaceful, the culture rich area offers a variety of wonderful dining and shopping establishments.
