It serves the residents of Patchogue, Medford, and parts of East Patchogue, and North Patchogue as well. The schools are very technologically equip, giving students many advanced opportunities. To increase student education, the district offers many after school programs and clubs. Many of these programs are available because of the dedicated PTA involved within the school of the district. Over the part few years there has been a fantastic revitalization of downtown Patougue. The village of Patchogue holds events during the year like Life After Five, The Great South Bay Music Festival, Fall Festival, Family Fun Night, and multiple Parades. For over 100 years the village of Patchogue has utilized it’s natural riverfront and harbor. The historical elements mixed with modern day components have made this area an unique, quiet, and refreshing place to live.

Patchogue-Medford School District is located on the central South Shore of Long Island. The Medford train station for the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) will bring you to Penn Station in approximately a hour and forty-five minutes. The LIE or Long Island Expressway and Sunrise Highway run West to East across the island and are located north of the district.
